THE BOOK OF CAVES of the Adriatic and Ionian Areas

The “Book of Caves of the Adriatic and Ionian area”, is a publication describing the caves of Adriaticaves route and other caves of the Adriatic and Ionian area. The organisation and the managerial arrangements, including the hosting of tourists of the caves represented into this publication are in compliance with the principles of the Charter of the Caves, a strategy for sustainable tourism in caves to valorise and to preserve the cultural heritage of caves and all of the belong to the Adriaticaves brand, developed in the project.

The caves included into the publication are described from every point of view, such as natural, historical, aesthetic, tourism, focusing on the hidden beauty of the caves inaccessible to the public. Furthermore, beautiful photos of the locations and useful information for tourists are there included.
